This is MY take on how to get the most out of a Double XP weekend.
Play Cranked.
Why Cranked you ask? Well, its simple. Its TDM but more fast paced. Get kills or blow up within 30 seconds after your kill. Ive had games of TDM last the whole 10 minutes before and not get much XP from it but in Cranked, you can "crank" out 3 matches in that amount of time, almost trippling your XP. And since this is a Double XP weekend, you would be getting 6 times the XP as a normal TDM match. Tested this morning, I played a TDM match and got about 7000 XP for a 7 minute game. And 3 games of Cranked which took about 12-15 minutes gained me about 25000 XP.
This is the mode that most Youtubers played on launch to get to the high prestige theyre at right now because of the high XP rate.
Now onto a cranked loadout. You can use just about any gun you are comfortable using for Cranked. The only difference in the loadout for this gametype is the perks. You dont want to waste a perk slot on speed perks seeing as you get all of the speed perks after a kill. My typical loadout for cranked would give me perks to make me the most deadly player out on the maps. My perk setup is as follows...
ICU / Focus / Hardline / Deadeye
My explanation for my perk setup. ICU is self explanatory, it helps you heal faster. Focus is to help your guns accuracy while shooting. Hardline to get your Strike Package perks faster. Now for the fun perk...Deadeye. This is a MUST HAVE for cranked. You are trying to string kills together in cranked and the more kills in a row you have, the higher chance of double damage bullets with Deadeye.
Now onto your strike package. I use specialist. Remember, this is to maximize your XP and once you hit that specialist bonus, you are getting MASSIVE XP. What I have set is..
Dead Silence / Amplify / Incog
SitRep / Tac Resist / Blast Shield / Ping
I feel this essentially gives me 15 perks once I hit a 12 kill streak.
NOW, go play some cranked and try this setup, I promise you wont be disappointed.
